Burroughs Receives Bronze Award from Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) has presented Burroughs with the Bronze award, recognising the company’s dedication to support the armed forces community.

At its core, the Armed Forces Covenant ensures that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, along with their families, receive fair treatment in accessing public and commercial services and employment. The Bronze Award highlights Burroughs’ commitment to inclusivity and support.

“Our people are not just our greatest asset – they are the heart and soul of our business” says Managing Director Piers Burroughs. “Their passion, dedication, and expertise are the driving force behind our success. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the armed forces community. At Burroughs, we understand the importance of standing with those who have served our nation, and we are honoured to receive this recognition.”

By aligning our values with those of the Armed Forces Covenant, Burroughs is ensuring that our commitment to fairness and respect extends to our employees and the armed forces community. This recognition highlights Burroughs’ commitment to prioritising the well-being of its employees and supporting the wider community.
