Burroughs worked with Thatcham Research and National Grid Electricity Distribution to deliver increased electrical capacity to Gamston Airport.

The new power supply will facilitate development, economic growth and allow for decarbonising the site’s existing assets. The power upgrade project will facilitate the installation of EV Chargers and the construction of a new office building.

Working with a trusted M&E partner to identify future power requirements at the site, our scope included carrying out the electricity application to the DNO for the increased power.

We assembled a construction team including a civils contractor, the DNO, an electrician and electrical designer to deliver the project, with Burroughs providing overarching design and project management services for the power upgrade works.
