Burroughs were appointed as structural engineer for a project to construct a bespoke and specialist Dental Referral Unit at SA1 Swansea Waterfront, that undertakes all types of surgical and restorative dentistry.

The three-storey building was designed as a concrete framed structure. Burroughs used the latest structural modelling, design and analysis software, which enabled quick and effective development of CAD drawings.

The building also had complex undercroft parking that required significant transfer structure, vehicular swept path analysis and vertical height tracking to ensure sufficient space and headroom.
