Haverfordia House

PROJECT SCOPE

Burroughs was appointed to deliver the lead Structural and Civil Engineering role for the Haverfordia House project in Pembrokeshire, commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council. The development will create 25 one and two-bedroom apartments tailored for over 65s, alongside a temporary bedsit, 12 reablement en-suite bedrooms, a reablement centre, and associated infrastructure and landscaping.

Our design strategy uses modern methods of construction and ground improvement techniques to mitigate the necessity for deep foundations. This not only enhances project efficiency but also aligns with sustainable and innovative construction practices, ensuring a robust and environmentally conscious development.

Our services encompass a range of crucial tasks including intrusive investigation scoping and procurement, foundation and retaining walls design, as well as designs for external works such as on-site roads, SAB compliant surface water drainage and foul drainage, and retaining walls, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle.
