Neil joined Burroughs in 2017 having spent 10 years working at Tata Steel where he progressed from a Trainee to Senior Civil Engineer. With his previous role being more ‘site-based’, Neil joined Burroughs as a Graduate Civil Engineer to gain invaluable ‘design-based’ experience whilst taking the opportunity to share his construction-based experience with others.

Since joining Burroughs, Neil has gained extensive experience in drainage, structural, and water supply design as well as delivering several major international and multidisciplinary projects. After successfully completing his MSc Civil & Structural Engineering in 2019, he became a Chartered Civil Engineer in 2020 and is now a registered Supervising Civil Engineer with the ICE – working closely with several candidates who are aiming for professional qualification. Neil was appointed as Principal Civil Engineer in 2022 and currently leads our Water Business.
