As part of the A38-M42 junction improvements, Burroughs designed gyratory realignment, road widening upgrades to signage, lighting and drainage.

The scheme has improved junction capacity on the A38, as part of a wider scheme of works to the link between Worcester, Bromsgrove and Birmingham and connections to the motorway network to provide additional capacity and improve journey time through Bromsgrove, to support identified growth in the area.

Burroughs were designers for Alun Griffiths Contractors Ltd, who were undertaking the works for Worcestershire County Council. Approvals were also required with National Highways.

Works were completed in 2021.
